The scene takes place in the underground. A realistic background noise permanently reminds us of this.
The story told is that of the encounter between a barrel organ player and two saxophonists. The territorial split quickly raises the tension betwen the saxophonists duet and the barrel organ player who takes himself for quite the philosopher, almost for God. The saxophonists are a lot more grounded and can't wait to play. The cohabitation will be difficult but occasionally music will conquer and the saxophonists will agree to accompany the organist...
